Highlights of Endeavour's fifth flight
STS-61 was the first Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission, and the fifth flight of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. The mission launched on Dec. 2, 1993, and restored the space-borne observatory's vision, marred by spherical aberration.
Of particular interest to the MIT community: AeroAstro Department Professor Jeff Hoffman, who appears extensively throughout this video, was aboard as a mission specialist and performed three of the repair spacewalks.
