Staying afloat: the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta

The Head of the Zesiger is an annual event where participants are required to build a boat out of cardboard to complete the course laid out before them at MIT's Zesiger Center pool. The participants can only use cardboard, paint and tape — that's it.

There is a course available for credit to students over MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP) which meets three times over the month of January leading up to the main event.
