According to a recent Ernst & Young report, venture capital investment in green tech/clean tech companies for the second quarter 2010 hit $1.5 billion -- a 63.8% increase from the same quarter in 2009 and the highest amount since the third quarter of 2008. Fiberight LLC (www.fiberight.com) has the technology, currently used in its plant in Iowa, to convert trash to biomass fuel. Global GSC, Inc. has developed a patented EPA verified portable emissions measurement system to measure carbon and other air pollutants from mobile sources. Skystream Markets Inc. (www.skystreammarkets.net) is developing a trading platform for carbon credits.
