Lynden Lemelson-InvenTeams
Lynden High School of Lynden, Washington is one of 15 teams participating from across the United States in the Lemelson-MIT EurekaFest 2012. Our Lynden InvenTeam invention is a 3 wheeled recumbent trike with a composite frame. The trike will have an active leaning suspension which will allow riders to curve into corners just like a bicycle, but have more stability. Our invention is solving a real world problem. People who have physical limitations such as spina bifida can not ride a regular bicycle. With our invention they can enjoy the experience of riding a bike, while getting a good core body workout.
