He describes the detailed Customer Development process for building scalable startups and explains how Alexander Osterwalder's Business Model Canvas provides a framework for conceiving the innovator's business model and monitoring progress in the Customer Development process.
The Customer Development process and The Startup Owner's Manual bring a nearly scientific method to the typically chaotic startup process. Among the many others embracing the process are 200 teams of innovators funded by the National Science Foundation.
