With Laurie Boyer, MIT

“Epigenetics, Plasticity, and Cancer” was the Koch Institute's 11th Annual Oncology Research Symposium and was held on Thursday, June 14, 2012. During the one-day program, top cancer researchers from around the world shared insights and updates on their work.

The event focused on epigenetics and how cellular plasticity appears to play a role in cancer.  The discussions ranged from the potential involvement to cells with stem cell-like properties to molecular adaptations in treatment resistance. The Symposium featured an outstanding program of speakers who are all leaders in cancer research and each shared their insights on key research programs leading to new cancer solutions.
